Role overview
Store Keeper responsible for material receiving, storage, inventory control, issuance, documentation, and stock reporting for project or site operations.
Receiving and inspection
- Receive MEP materials, equipment, tools, and consumables delivered to the project or site.
- Check deliveries against purchase orders, delivery notes, material requisitions, and approved specifications.
- Inspect quantities, descriptions, sizes, condition, discrepancies, and damage.
Storage and issuance
- Store and organize materials by type, size, usage, and project requirements.
- Issue materials only against authorized material requisitions or store requests.
- Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels and report replenishment needs.
- Ensure proper identification, labeling, and segregation of materials.
Inventory and documentation
- Maintain records of incoming and outgoing materials, stock registers, bin cards, and inventory documentation.
- Conduct physical stock checks and reconcile quantities with system or register balances.
- Monitor slow-moving, excess, damaged, obsolete, and surplus materials.
