Job Summary
The Stock Incharge manages daily stock operations, maintains accurate inventory records, and ensures proper inward, storage, and outward movement of materials.
The position is within the Warehouse and Stores department and reports to the Warehouse Manager or Store Manager.
The listed location is Bangalore, and the role requires 1–3 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily stock inward and outward activities.
- Receive materials and verify quantities, quality, and documents against purchase orders and invoices.
- Maintain accurate stock records in ERP or stock management software and MS Excel.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Identify and report stock shortages, excess, damage, and discrepancies.
- Ensure proper stacking, labeling, storage, and handling of materials.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and inform the purchase team about replenishment requirements.
- Apply FIFO practices wherever applicable.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports for management.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Sales, Accounts, Warehouse, and Logistics teams.
- Maintain documentation for goods receipt notes, invoices, delivery challans, stock transfers, and dispatches.
- Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and damaged stock and report findings.
