Stock Custodian Responsibilities Include: Manage, safeguard, issue, receive, and reconcile postal stock, including stamps, money orders, accountable forms, financial-service supplies, and other controlled postal materials.
Use USPS POS/RSS to process postal retail and financial-service transactions, maintain inventory records, generate reports, and document accountability.
Support postal financial services, including money-order sales, stamp stock management, customer transactions, remittances, and required financial reconciliations.
Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic stock counts, audits, inventories, and reconciliations.
Prepare and maintain required stock records, cash reports, financial logs, inventory documents, receipts, remittance documentation, and transaction reports.
Identify, document, and promptly report financial discrepancies, stock shortages or overages, irregularities, system issues, and potential security concerns.
Maintain strict accountability and secure storage for postal stock, financial instruments, keys, forms, records, and equipment.

Strong attention to detail, mathematical accuracy, integrity, and recordkeeping discipline.
Ability to communicate clearly with customers, team members, military personnel, Government representatives, and company leadership.
Proficiency with standard computer applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and email.
Ability to meet all installation-specific access, medical, training, force-protection, and deployment requirements.
Mut pass pre-employment requirements of Cherokee Federal.
Experience supporting a Military Post Office, Army Post Office, Fleet Post Office, or other Department of Defense postal operation.
