The Stock Controller oversees storage locations inside and outside the outlet and ensures ingredient safekeeping.
The role monitors stock movement and applies food safety management standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare purchase orders and oversee receiving, storage, transfers, physical handling, and dispatch.
- Maintain an objective business relationship with vendors.
Qualifications
- Strong stock control, stock management, and inventory control skills are required for daily inventory operations.
- Analytical skills are needed to interpret inventory data and recommend corrective actions.
- Effective communication skills are needed to work with warehouse, procurement, finance, and management teams.
- Relevant food and beverage or FMCG inventory experience is beneficial.
- Inventory management software and basic Microsoft Office, especially Excel, are preferred.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced on-site environment are important.
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, logistics, or a related field is an advantage.
