The position helps maintain accurate inventory records, resolve discrepancies, monitor stock movements, and maintain controls throughout the inventory lifecycle.
The work coordinates with stock control, warehouse, procurement, supply chain, logistics, retail, finance, operations, and management teams.
Work Arrangement
- The role is advertised as full-time and fully remote in the United Arab Emirates.
- The position involves working independently in an internationally distributed environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and monitor receipts, issues, transfers, returns, adjustments, and other inventory transactions.
- Verify stock quantities, SKUs, descriptions, conditions, purchase orders, delivery documents, and supporting records.
- Maintain inventory records across ERP, WMS, inventory-management, warehouse, POS, and related systems.
- Conduct physical counts, cycle counts, spot checks, audits, reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations.
- Monitor stock availability, aging, slow-moving items, obsolete stock, damaged goods, and inventory exceptions.
- Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers on receiving, transfers, replenishment, returns, adjustments, and stock issues.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock-control reports and maintain registers, logs, count sheets, and audit documentation.
- Support process improvements, system implementations, inventory projects, KPI monitoring, and compliance with control procedures.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in stock control, inventory control, warehouse operations, inventory management, supply-chain operations, logistics, retail operations, or inventory administration.
- Experience with physical counts, cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, stock movements, and discrepancy investigation.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, analytical ability, numerical skills, problem-solving, and follow-up capabilities.
- Experience using ERP, WMS, inventory-management, POS, warehouse, or stock-control systems.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookups, formulas, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Understanding of receiving, issuing, transfers, returns, adjustments, stock aging, obsolete stock, and stock availability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently with reliability, accountability, integrity, confidentiality, and a continuous-improvement mindset.
