Role Overview
The Stock Assurance Supervisor oversees and validates stock accuracy across warehouse and retail operations.
The role ensures physical and system stock align through audits, investigations, corrective actions, and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Lead periodic cycle counts, stock takes, and random audits across locations.
- Investigate stock variances, analyze discrepancy trends, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with warehouse, inventory, and store teams to ensure proper stock handling.
- Support improvements that reduce shrinkage, damage, and misplacements.
- Ensure accurate and timely stock reconciliation reports.
- Maintain audit readiness and compliance with internal inventory SOPs.
- Train and coach stock auditors or junior staff.
- Collaborate with finance on stock valuation and reporting accuracy.
- Support physical inventory preparations during financial year-end audits.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
