We are looking for a Stock Agent to join our Longreach team on a permanent, full-time basis.
As our Stock Agent , you will be the trusted advisor and key point of contact for livestock clients across the region.
Working closely with local producers and the wider branch team, you’ll support on-farm success by providing guidance on livestock sales, general merchandise, nutrition and supplement products, and animal health solutions.
You’ll assist with sale preparation activities including weighing, processing, vaccinating and drenching cattle on farm, while also identifying opportunities to cross-sell Elders’ broader range of products and services.
This is a relationship-driven role focused on building strong client connections and driving new business across the region.

To succeed at Elders, you have:
Previous experience in livestock handling (e.g. station/ feedlot work) or sales processing
Excellent communication, negotiation and client service skills
The ability to assess livestock condition and value with accuracy
A current driver’s licence and selling license (or willingness to obtain one)
A genuine passion for rural communities and the agriculture industry
Ability to provide proof of Q-Fever vaccination or immunity, or willingness to obtain
