Role Overview
Stewards/Stewardesses support hotel hospitality operations by maintaining clean kitchen and dining areas and preparing serviceware for guest service.
The role contributes to memorable guest experiences through cleanliness, safety, teamwork, and reliable event support.
Typical Responsibilities
- Clean chinaware, silverware, cooking utensils, pots, and pans, and polish silver.
- Monitor stock levels and keep supplies and equipment organized.
- Perform kitchen cleaning tasks, including mopping and waste removal.
- Prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets and functions.
- Handle hazardous substances safely and comply with hygiene and safety regulations.
- Report safety concerns and equipment or maintenance issues to the supervisor on duty.
- Train and mentor new team members to support team performance.
