- Receive instruments from decontamination area and process appropriately
- Perform physical and environmental duties including cleaning workspace, emptying biohazards waste, monitoring sterilizers, and checking environmental monitors
- Complete sterilization processes
- Perform high level disinfection
- Perform other duties as assigned

Job Description
- Searching for a Sterile Processing Technician to work in a fast paced setting.
- Provide for the efficient processing of instruments and sterilization throughout the hospital.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Processes decontaminate medical devices as received according to established priorities, medical device IFU’s and best practices.
- Receives instruments from the decontamination area and processes appropriately.
- Performs physical and environmental duties as designated daily, including cleaning workspace/instrument room/cabinets, emptying biohazards waste, monitoring sterilizers, and checking environmental monitors.
- Completes sterilization processes.
- Performs high level disinfection.
- Performs other duties as assigned, including other essential instrument room duties.
- As part of commitment to safety, all successful candidates will undergo respiratory fit testing.
Skills & Requirements
- Required H.S. Diploma or GED or Central Services Technician Course
- Required 2 years of experience in hospital instrument processing or Completion of a Central Services Technician Course
