The role of the Sterile Processing Technician reports to the Sterile Processing Department Manager.

This position is responsible for the decontamination and sterilization of all hospital instruments.

• Ensure proper protocol is followed for the decontamination of instruments
• Assemble and sterilize instruments ensuring proper sterilization technique
• Catalog and re-stock crash carts and urology carts
• Ensure proper High-Level Disinfection (HLD) of semi-critical items is performed
