About the Role
GROMAXX HOTELS MANAGEMENT LLC is seeking a Steam Press Man to ensure guest services are met on time and to set standards. The role involves pressing garments, operating pressing machines, and maintaining equipment in a hotel laundry setting.

Responsibilities
- Ensure guest services are met on time and to set standards
- Sort out, segregate and check items prior to washing
- Press all garments according to the specific type of material
- Replace broken / missing buttons from garment
- Check washed garments and send stained items for re washing
- Operate pressing machines as per given instructions
- Hang and fold items as per hotel standards and guest instructions
- Recheck all finished items before returning them to Marker for delivery
- Maintain pressing machines by changing pads and covers when required
- Report any loss or damage of fixtures and equipment to the Laundry Manager
- Assist in other areas of the Laundry when necessary
- Assist with feeding and folding work associated with the Flat work iron
Requirements
- Ability to sort, segregate, and check items prior to washing
- Experience in pressing garments according to material type
- Ability to operate pressing machines
- Willingness to work different shifts and overtime
- Punctual, honest, and hard working

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

- Hang and fold items as per hotel standards and Guest instructions

Additional Duties
- Keep daily record of all pressed items / uniforms for daily production report
- Assist and train other laundry members in the process of pressing
- Assists in inventories
- Carries out any special work assignments
- Assists in implementing emergency procedures when requested
- Attends meetings
- Participates in continuous training
- Be fully conversant with Fire & Safety procedures and adhere to them
- Required to work different shifts and to do overtime if required
- Be punctual, honest and hard working
Compensation
- Pay: AED 1,500.00 per month
