The Statutory and Tax compliance role is responsible for statutory reporting, audit coordination, and tax compliance across multiple entities, ensuring full compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and regulatory requirements in the Middle-east region. Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and file statutory financial statements and tax returns (CIT/VAT)
Support statutory audits and tax authority reviews, acting as key liaison with auditors
Ensure compliance with local regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls
Perform tax and GAAP reconciliations (US GAAP to local GAAP)
Forecast tax liabilities and support cash flow planning
Collaborate with HQ finance, Corporate Tax, and global stakeholders and external service providers
Support business transitions, reorganisations, and ad hoc initiatives
Prepare board reporting and financial performance presentations
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and cost control
Position Requirements
Maintain compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and regulatory obligations
Act as a key interface for auditors, tax authorities, and finance teams
Ensure timely completion of filings, audits, and reporting
Maintain accurate documentation and strong audit trails
Identify and implement control improvements and cost efficiencies
