Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analyses of market trends, competitive landscape, and internal performance metrics to inform strategic decisions
- Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring strategic projects to ensure timely completion and alignment with business goals
- Provide data driven insights and recommendations to senior leaders
- Facilitate cross functional collaboration and ensure effective communication of strategic priorities across the Power Product Group
- Aid in the development and implementation of processes and initiatives that enhance operational efficiency
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and other documentation to communicate findings and recommendations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
- 8 years of related experience within semiconductor industry; experience at management consulting firms is a plus
- Critical thinking and business sense to break down complex business problems
- Strong communication and executive presence
- Analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in Excel and/or data visualization tools
- Project management and ownership; ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Comfort with ambiguity and fast iteration

Job Description
- We are seeking a Staff Strategic Planning Specialist.
- This role serves as a key strategic thought partner within the Renesas Power Product Group.
- The Strategy team provides decision support for the Power Product Group executive team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analyses of market trends, competitive landscape, and internal performance metrics to inform strategic decisions.
- Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring strategic projects to ensure timely completion and alignment with business goals.
- Provide data driven insights and recommendations to senior leaders.
- Facilitate cross functional collaboration and ensure effective communication of strategic priorities across the Power Product Group.
- Aid in the development and implementation of processes and initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and support strategic objectives.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and other documentation to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Critical Thinking & Business Sense: Ability to break down complex business problems, synthesize insights from data, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Strong Communication & Executive Presence: Comfort presenting to senior partners, writing crisp summaries, and facilitating cross functional alignment.
- Analytical & Quantitative Skills: Proficiency in Excel and/or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI); familiarity with SQL and financial modeling is a plus.
- Project Management & Ownership: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams, drive progress independently, and deliver high quality outputs.
- Comfort with Ambiguity and Fast Iteration: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities shift and solutions evolve quickly.
Education & Experience
