Staff Software Engineer - Mobile Workflows

Role overview

What you will do

• Own architecture and roadmap for iOS and Android simulators, emulators, device orchestration, and CLI tooling.
• Design and evolve mobile test automation for synthetic and integration testing across platforms.
• Set CI/CD quality gates and proactively address mobile quality issues before production.
• Align Native Infra, Cross Platform, and DevX teams around one cohesive mobile workflow system.
• Define company-wide mobile testing standards, methodologies, triage workflows, and monitoring.
• Mentor team members, provide direct feedback, and support mobile talent assessment and hiring.

What they are looking for

• Deep expertise in iOS with Swift or Android with Kotlin, working knowledge of the other platform, and experience with cross-platform approaches.
• Production experience with React Native or a comparable cross-platform mobile framework at meaningful scale.
• Experience building or significantly shaping a mobile test automation framework adopted by other teams.
• Experience with CI/CD quality strategy, mobile build systems, device farms, or reliable feedback loops at scale.
• Experience delivering complex cross-team technical projects and influencing teams without direct authority.
• Technical documentation and standards should be clear enough to serve as references for other engineers.
