About The Role

Responsibilities
- System Implementation & Integration: Design and implement Oracle Retail Merchandising Cloud Services (ORMCS) alongside enterprise PIM platforms (like Stibo Systems STEP). Actively write code, configure, and architect Stibo STEP (Item, Location, Vendor Portal) alongside Oracle Retail Merchandising Systems (RMS/RMFCS). Define enterprise-wide data models and product taxonomy. Engineer custom Stibo JavaScript business rules, state transitions, and approval workflows.
- Workflow Automation: Configure automated business rules and change-management workflows to review, approve, and enrich item data before it hits customer touchpoints.
- Data Synchronization: Map and build data integration pipelines between RMS, PIM, ERP, and e-commerce systems to enable omnichannel journeys.
- Lifecycle Management: Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from vendor onboarding and purchase orders to pricing, inventory allocation, and fulfillment.
- Agentic AI Development: Use production-grade Agentic AI frameworks to automate complex retail tasks.
Criteria
- Education: BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent work experience.
- Retail Domain Expertise: 10+ years of core retail industry experience with a deep understanding of merchandise hierarchies, foundational inventory management, pricing systems, and supply chain operations.
- Technical Stack Mastery: 8+ years of hands-on software development experience utilizing JavaScript, XML, XSD, JSON, Linux environments, and RESTful/SOAP Web Services.
- Stibo STEP Experience: 8+ years of direct configuration and architecture experience within Stibo STEP PIM (workflows, portal development, endpoint integrations).
- Oracle Retail Experience: Deep technical exposure to Oracle RMS/RMFCS database schemas, including advanced capability writing/reviewing complex operational PL/SQL queries and performance-tuning Oracle databases.
- Agentic AI Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in developing autonomous AI agents. Practical experience with prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
- Delivery & Agility: Proven capability to prioritize deliverables, architect reusable systems, and collaborate with Product Management teams in a fast-paced Agile environment (Jira/Git).
- Cloud Environments: Familiarity with deploying, configuring, and maintaining enterprise applications in cloud and SaaS environments.
- This role requires being onsite in the San Francisco, San Jose, or Rocklin, CA office Monday through Thursday.

The expected starting pay range for this position is $160,000 - $190,000.
Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets.
Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
