Role Overview
Lead software initiatives with significant AI components and develop strategic AI implementation roadmaps.
Apply modern software engineering practices across the full software development lifecycle.
Design enterprise-grade architectures and coordinate multi-team engineering efforts.
Responsibilities
- Optimize cloud resource costs and evaluate AI model suitability, selection, and drift.
- Drive technical direction and innovation while addressing performance and scale challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to deliver projects and manage milestones.
- Influence multiple project teams and lead significant projects, programs, and business initiatives.
- Mentor and train colleagues, including senior software engineers.
- Provide specialist advice on complex issues related to emerging technologies.
- Informally lead assigned work groups and recommend improvements to daily operations.
- Communicate the value of software development engineering to the business.
Required Background
- At least 10 years of software engineering experience with co-located and distributed teams.
- Strong Microsoft C++ proficiency covering MFC, COM, and Win32.
