Role Overview
Build products in the Transaction Journey organization that improve residential real estate transactions.
Lead design and development of a transaction management platform covering forms, eSign, compliance review, and commissions processing.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to deliver scalable customer solutions.
At Compass, You Will
- Own platform architecture, data ingestion, and normalization for a scalable search experience.
- Lead complex technical projects across the entire stack.
- Define reliability KPIs and lead improvements to service health, technical debt, toil, and infrastructure costs.
- Operationalize AI, data pipelines, telemetry, automated testing, CI/CD, and monitoring.
- Inspire, recruit, and mentor engineers.
What We Look For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years developing well-tested, high-performance software with TypeScript, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
- 5+ years with React and Node.js and 3+ years with AWS or cloud technologies.
- Track record as a technical leader with cross-team impact.
