Role Overview
Serve as a key technical leader and role model within the engineering team.
Design and develop technology aligned with business and technology objectives.
Work on Enterprise Platform Foundations, which provides foundational capabilities for LinkedIn enterprise products.
Responsibilities
- Scale distributed applications using synchronous and asynchronous design patterns.
- Write code and deliver software with speed and quality.
- Produce unit-tested, code-reviewed software that is regularly checked in for continuous integration.
- Coach engineers and promote craftsmanship, collaboration, and a bias for action.
- Collaborate across teams to build scalable platforms, products, services, and tools.
- Support and leverage a shared technical stack with engineering peers.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 11 years of experience in software design, development, and algorithm-related solutions.
- At least 11 years of programming experience in Java or another object-oriented language.
