Join the CommBiz Mobile and Insight crew within Business Banking Technology.
Work with engineers on backend APIs and native mobile applications for enterprise clients.
What you will do
- Design and develop microservices, data access layers, REST APIs, and third-party API integrations.
- Contribute to backend, frontend web, and native application development.
- Manage risk through safe deployments and automated testing.
- Shape system evolution and solve complex technical problems supporting business objectives.
- Work on cross-functional projects, address dependencies, and promote strong engineering practices.
- Provide technical guidance and coach junior engineers through engineering guilds and team collaboration.
Experience sought
- Hands-on backend development experience with C# .NET Core, REST APIs, WebAPI, TypeScript, Node.js, or Next.js.
- Hands-on frontend development experience with Next.js, React.js, Angular, or TypeScript.
- Experience designing solutions for enterprise-scale applications.
- Full software development lifecycle experience using Agile practices.
- Experience with GitHub, CI/CD, automated testing, cloud pipelines, logging, and monitoring.
- Knowledge of security best practices and principles.
- Strong collaboration, communication, stakeholder influence, and problem-solving abilities.
