Staff Software Engineer (Cloud Storage & Distributed Systems)

Job Requirements

• Own the functional, performance and scalability of data plane rich with data management • Own features through the entire software lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support. • Design, develop, and operate cloud-native services leveraging containers, microservices, distributed systems principles, and modern CI/CD practices. • Drive engineering excellence through automated testing, code reviews, operational readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Collaborate across engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions spanning storage, networking, cloud infrastructure, security, observability, and customer-facing experiences. • Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to help drive technical excellence and engineering best practices. • Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term reliability, scalability, and operational improvements. • Work closely with product management, architects, and partner teams to translate customer and business requirements into high-quality technical solutions. • Effectively communicate technical concepts, design tradeoffs, and project status to stakeholders across the organization. • Contribute to the technical growth of the team through knowledge sharing, code reviews, design discussions, and mentorship opportunities.
