As a Staff Backend Software Engineer at LVT, you will serve as a primary technical authority driving the design, performance, and scaling of our core backend architecture.
Partnering closely with engineering leadership, cross-functional teams, and senior peers, you will architect resilient, high-velocity services that power our next-generation intelligent site technology.
Beyond executing high-impact technical initiatives, you will mentor software engineers, elevate development standards, and shape our engineering culture.
Success in this role is measured by your ability to transform complex business requirements into elegant, reliable cloud services while elevating the technical output of the broader engineering organization.
This role is based out of our Seattle, Washington office on a hybrid work schedule, 3 days per week.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide Strategic Technical Leadership: Drive backend architecture, technical direction, and robust engineering design standards across production services.
- Ship High-Impact Backend Architecture: Deliver high-velocity, clean, and scalable Node.js/TypeScript code for business-critical backend systems and API services.
