Role overview
CesiumAstro is seeking a Staff RF Engineer to develop RF hardware for satellites, spacecraft, UAVs, launch vehicles, and aerospace systems.
The role centers on board-level RF electronics design and phased-array communication systems.
Responsibilities
- Own RF circuits and systems through requirements definition, design, analysis, manufacturing, testing, qualification, and in-orbit support.
- Design board-level schematics and PCB layouts and routing for RF circuits.
- Work on RF front-ends, frequency converters, synthesizers, filters, beamformers, power dividers, and phased-array antennas.
- Create block diagrams, detailed schematics, simulations, and test designs.
- Present engineering design reviews to customers and the executive team.
- Participate in proposal-writing efforts.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- At least eight years of industry experience in RF electronics design, analysis, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with CST, ADS, and Altium or comparable professional simulation and EDA tools.
- Hands-on experience with vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
