About the Role
The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced Band 6 nurse for Wilson Ward, a fast-paced oncology ward caring for patients with a wide range of cancers. You will provide high-quality care, demonstrate leadership, and work closely with the multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
- Plan, document, deliver, and evaluate evidence based nursing care for patients
- Develop awareness and understanding of cancer patient needs and treatment modalities
- Develop understanding of managing a shift with guidance from Ward Sister/Charge Nurse
- Lead the team in the Sister's absence
- Identify areas to improve patient experience and quality of nursing care
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification
- Experience as a Band 6 nurse or equivalent
- Experience in taking charge of a ward in a busy environment
- Excellent interpersonal and clinical skills
- Oncology experience and head and neck clinical skills desirable
