Role Overview
SentinelOne is seeking a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer, AI to extend engineering capacity directly into departments including Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Security, People, and Legal.
The role combines hands-on full-stack engineering, rapid prototyping with modern AI tools, and judgment about when to build, reuse, or decline an approach.
What You Will Do
- Embed with functional departments to discover workflows and pain points.
- Scope, design, and build full-stack custom applications from prototype to production.
- Own architecture, development, testing, deployment, training, and handoff.
- Use AI coding tools to compress build cycles and iterate with stakeholders in near real time.
- Make and communicate trade-offs among scope, speed, and quality.
- Partner with IT, Security, and Data teams on security, compliance, and supportability.
- Create reusable patterns, components, and playbooks from engagements.
- Share field learnings with platform, product, and data teams.
- Measure success through adoption and business impact.
Required Experience and Skills
- Five or more years of professional software engineering experience and independent full-stack application delivery.
