What You'll Do
Technical Architecture & Coding: Lead and manage complex NetSuite engineering projects, establishing best-in-class architectural designs while actively writing SuiteScript and building custom solutions yourself.
Core Module Customization: Develop, customize, and optimize NetSuite modules based on complex global business requirements, specifically focusing on Fixed Asset Management (FAM), Landed Cost (LC), General Ledger (GL), Intercompany Management, and Payables.
Source-to-Pay Integration: Architect, build, and maintain robust, high-performance integrations and automated data pipelines between NetSuite and our procurement ecosystem, specifically Coupa.
Process Automation: Streamline accounting and supply chain operations by leveraging SuiteFlow (Workflows) and SuiteScript (2.0/2.1) to drive enterprise-wide automation and efficiency.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure robust platform security and audit readiness by designing and implementing proper role-based access controls (RBAC), data security policies, and SOX compliance measures.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Enterprise Product Managers, Data Platforms, Sourcing, and corporate business teams to translate financial and supply chain requirements into stable technical solutions.
Standards & Code Reviews: Develop and enforce rigorous coding and technical design standards, conducting peer code reviews to ensure platform performance, maintainability, and scalability.
Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers within the ERP engineering team.
Release Management: Stay up to date with NetSuite bi-annual releases , evaluating new features, managing impact analyses, and proactively recommending optimizations to eliminate manual work.
CI/CD & Source Control Expertise: Hands-on experience building and maturing NetSuite-SDF and GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines for version-controlled customization, automated deployment, and disciplined change management in enterprise ERP environments.
About You
Experience: 10+ years of experience in ERP development, with 7+ years of dedicated technical expertise in NetSuite development and hands-on SuiteScript architecture.
Techno-Functional Footprint: Deep end-to-end NetSuite architecture and techno-functional expertise across Fixed Asset Management (FAM), Landed Cost (LC), General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Cash Management, and Intercompany transactions, with strong understanding of how procurement and inventory flows drive landed cost allocation, asset capitalization, reconciliation, and downstream GL impact and supporting multi-subsidiary, multi-currency, and global finance operations within NetSuite OneWorld environments.
Targeted Module & Integration Expertise: Fixed Assets & Landed Cost: Proven experience customizing and configuring NetSuite Fixed Asset Management (FAM) and complex Landed Cost allocation models to accurately capture total product’s asset lifecycle and the Asset’s GL impact. Proven hands-on experience designing and implementing NetSuite FAM solutions across depreciation, CIP, capitalization, transfers, revaluation, write-off, retirement, and disposal and its associated customizations GL & Intercompany Accounting: Deep understanding of custom GL impacts, multi-currency transactions, automated intercompany eliminations, Revaluation, Translation and Consolidation. Deep understanding in design and development of JE & IC JE Approval workflows NetSuite Accounts Payable (AP) : Proven experience architecting, configuring, and optimizing NetSuite AP processes including vendor bill management, approval workflows, payment processing, vendor credits, accrual support, period-close readiness, and accurate downstream GL impact, with strong understanding of how integrated procure-to-pay flows from Coupa and related upstream transactions affect financial accuracy, reconciliation, and controls. Coupa S2P Automation: Hands-on experience architecting and building complex, automated workflows connecting Coupa to NetSuite for seamless purchase-to-pay processes, supplier synchronization, and automated AP invoicing.

Operational Transaction Awareness: Working understanding of Transfer Orders (TOs), Item Receipts (IRs), and Item Fulfillments (IFs) and how these inventory transactions impact financial postings, landed cost, intercompany flows, reconciliation, and downstream reporting.
Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency with the SuiteCloud customization platform, including SuiteScript (2.0/2.1), SuiteBuilder, SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST APIs), and SuiteBundler.
Programming & Integration Skills: Hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) languages like Java or Python , paired with extensive experience utilizing middleware solutions (e.g., Celigo, Boomi, Workato, or custom APIs).
Data & Version Control: Strong understanding of SQL for custom reporting/analytics , alongside mastery of Git-based version control systems and the SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF).
Compliance Background: Strong background working in compliance-driven environments navigating strict SOX, GDPR, or asset-tracking controls.
Applied AI in Enterprise Systems: Experience evaluating and implementing AI-driven solutions across ERP and adjacent business systems to improve financial operations, procurement workflows, support triage, reporting insights, and engineering efficiency, with careful attention to SOX compliance, security, and data integrity
