Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Staff Reliability Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our MDC2 Product Support of organization.

This role is located onsite in Melbourne, FL.

In this role you will support the E-2D Hawkeye Program designing readiness and cost improvement solutions for aircraft sustainment in a performance based environment.

Reliability Engineering Analysis will include the following:

• Candidate will be able to apply advanced technical expertise and have full knowledge of other related disciplines. They will be able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings. It is expected that a successful candidate will work on unusually complex technical problems and provide solutions which are highly innovative. Work will be performed under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range goals and objectives. Assignments are often self-initiated. Determine and pursue courses of action necessary to obtain desired results. The candidate will guide a project to completion, and function as the project lead. They will serve as organization spokesperson on advanced projects and/or programs. Individual acts as advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.
• Candidate will be responsible for the project requirements associated with the establishment of hardware reliability design criteria, the performance and overview of systems and failure analysis tasks including: performing reliability analyses, participating in program reviews, reliability and availability modeling, probability, and statistics, reliability and availability allocations, and predictions.
