Staff Engineer, ServiceNow (AI Ops & Event Management)

Requirements

• At least 5.5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in ServiceNow AIOps, Event Management, and ITOM.
• Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining ServiceNow AIOps solutions.
• Strong ServiceNow development experience with JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Script Includes.
• Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Update Sets, and Scoped Applications.
• Experience with ServiceNow Event Management and alert correlation capabilities.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with monitoring and observability tools such as SolarWinds, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or similar platforms.
• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs for integrations.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field is required.
• ServiceNow certifications in ITOM, Event Management, or AIOps are an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain ServiceNow AIOps and Event Management solutions using ServiceNow best practices.
• Configure and optimize ServiceNow AIOps for business-critical applications and infrastructure.
• Implement alert ingestion, alert correlation, and noise reduction solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise monitoring tools.
• Build and enhance platform capabilities with JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.
• Gather stakeholder requirements and design effective ITOM solutions.
• Configure and customize ServiceNow applications for business needs.
• Perform integration testing and ensure high-quality solution delivery.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, and platform issues.
• Support upgrades, deployments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow ServiceNow development standards, governance, and security best practices.
• Participate in design reviews and code reviews and provide technical recommendations.
