The Staff Engineer, Reliability Test operates and improves an environmental test laboratory for electronic products.
The role covers reliability testing, laboratory procedures, test planning, data acquisition, reporting, equipment management, and stakeholder education.
What You’ll Do
- Operate and improve a laboratory with HALT/HASS chambers, thermal-humidity chambers, vibration and shock equipment, and data acquisition systems.
- Develop procedures for equipment use, test setup and teardown, data acquisition, and reporting.
- Perform thermal cycling, temperature-humidity soaks, HALT, HASS, vibration, and shock testing on electronic products.
- Automate data acquisition, define test plans, document results, manage tests, and develop laboratory best practices.
- Manage laboratory consumables and equipment maintenance, safety, organization, external laboratory testing, and stakeholder education.
