Position Overview
The Staff Engineer, Lighting Systems will serve as the primary on-site technical owner for plant-related lighting topics.
The role supports launch readiness, production stabilization, issue resolution, and continuous improvement across lighting systems.
The position requires mechanical design, hardware integration, supplier coordination, validation, and manufacturing support skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Own lighting topics involving fit, function, packaging, sealing, mounting, assembly feasibility, end-of-line issues, and vehicle-level integration.
- Coordinate technical issues and launch execution between the KSA plant, global engineering teams, suppliers, and manufacturing organizations.
- Lead root cause analysis, containment, corrective actions, engineering changes, deviations, and design improvements.
