Role Overview
CesiumAstro is hiring a Staff Electrical Engineer to develop leading-edge electronics for satellites, spacecraft, and aerospace systems.
The role covers full-stack hardware development from concept and detailed design through analysis, layout, build, test, and delivery.
The position includes technical leadership opportunities for critical designs and engineering teams.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end design of complex electronics modules and systems through production.
- Lead hardware engineering teams and provide subject matter expertise across the company.
- Develop hardware architectures, requirements, schematics, PCB layouts, and design analyses.
- Create bring-up and verification plans, perform testing, and release assemblies to production.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate across software, mechanical, manufacturing, and test disciplines.
