Staff Data Engineer (Global Security)

Utilizing the latest technologies available, you will design and build data solutions to meet business needs, independently gathering requirements, researching and taking on new projects for which there is no template and the tool set may be new.

Be an active contributor to not only your individual team, but to the RBC development community.

Seek out better ways to do things, new tools, new technologies, new processes, prioritizing simple, re-usable and scalable solutions over complex ones.

Work on both transformational and BAU projects delivering new value while also maintaining and enriching existing applications and processes.

Work as part of a cross-functional agile team responsible for end-to-end delivery of business needs.

Use your DevOps and SRE mindset to automate everything.

Leverage your soft skills to problem-solve, present information, brainstorm solutions, communicate and collaborate with other teams and stakeholders.

Experience with Snowflake

Knowledge of cloud architecture
