Role Overview
CesiumAstro is seeking a Staff Communication Systems Engineer for phased-array communication systems used in satellites, spacecraft, and aerospace systems.
The role serves as a technical point of contact for communication programs and supports architecture, payload design, requirements, analysis, and risk assessment.
The engineer will coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and help drive complex programs to successful outcomes.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluate customer and operational needs to define requirements and ensure compatibility of physical, functional, and program interfaces.
- Support project scheduling and coordination with program management.
- Represent the technical team in external customer discussions about technical baselines.
- Coordinate communications between program management, engineering, and manufacturing.
