Build digital experiences that connect, entertain, and support users through vehicle infotainment applications.
The team develops Android, connected systems, and automotive platform technologies and offers opportunities for technical leadership and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop infotainment applications on Rivian and Volkswagen Group Android-based operating systems.
- Create modular, scalable software, design patterns, and libraries for varied products and use cases.
- Lead software design and collaborate with developers on technical issues, design choices, and decisions.
- Work with product and UI/UX teams to define application features.
- Resolve application bottlenecks and optimize performance.
- Perform code reviews, apply continuous integration practices, and write test code.
- Design and implement application updates and releases.
- Investigate AOSP to improve application performance and integration.
