The Staff Analyst is a pivotal technical leadership position connecting Global Product and Pricing teams.

The role drives pricing experiments, customer value measurement, segment economics and data-informed decisions at scale.

Pricing and experimentation

  • Initiate, design and measure pricing experiments that drive sustainable volume growth.
  • Support experiments owned by other teams with analytical rigour, shared learnings and measurement frameworks.
  • Measure customer understanding of pricing and quantify its impact on growth.
  • Partner with Product and Design to identify pricing friction and prove which interventions work.

Pricing strategy and economics

  • Shape pricing strategy for the cross-border and account products.
  • Define customer segments, model their unit economics and support segment-level sustainability.
  • Translate product strategy into pricing implications and align Product and Pricing around shared data.
  • Lead analytical roadmaps and influence pricing direction in leadership forums.

Technical leadership

  • Write high-performing SQL and design scalable data infrastructure using tools such as dbt.
  • Set analytical best practices across the team.
  • Work autonomously on complex and ambiguous projects and connect analytical work to company objectives.
  • Mentor analysts and elevate analytical practice across the organisation.

Cross-functional collaboration

  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, Finance and Marketing.
  • Influence without authority and drive consensus through clear, compelling communication.
  • Provide the analytical engine for pricing experience decisions, including experiment measurement and economic modelling.

Required capabilities

  • Expert-level SQL and experience with data pipeline tools such as dbt.
  • Ability to architect scalable data solutions.
  • Experience designing pricing experiments with hypotheses, success metrics and required sample sizes.
  • Experience initiating experiments and drawing actionable conclusions.
  • Experience measuring user interaction with product surfaces, conversion funnels and comprehension metrics.
  • Strong product economics and business acumen, including segments, margins, growth levers and customer value.
  • Ability to build roadmaps and deliver complex, ambiguous work autonomously.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive consensus through communication.
  • Experience mentoring analysts and partnering with senior stakeholders.

Work arrangement

  • The role offers hybrid working.

Compensation

  • The salary is £105,000–£150,000 per year.
  • The package includes company restricted stock units and benefits in the London office.
