Annual Compensation for staff-level: $68,000 -$80,000
Advanced Cell Diagnostics, a Bio-Techne Brand, has an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant, based in our Newark, CA office. This role will be responsible for daily accounts payable transactions, month-end accounting close activities and adhoc projects. A successful candidate would have strong accounting fundamentals and is self-motivated, dedicated, detail oriented, and eager to learn and grow in his/her career with the company.
Process vendor invoices & payment transactions (check run & wires/ACH) – with focus on compliance, accuracy, efficiency & timeliness.
Liaison with department heads for approvals, purchasing team and receiving team.
Manage vendor relationship by monitoring timely payments & resolving open issues.
Assist in month-end close activities, account reconciliation and analysis, journal entries, audit requests
Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and enhance efficiency
Support the team with other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree in accounting / business / finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing company
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft suite and Excel: vlookup, if function, pivot table etc.
Strong communication and analytical skills
Reliable, dedicated, detail-oriented and able to work independently
