Responsible for developing, maintaining, and validating simulation models of heavy-duty vehicle systems to support embedded systems development and testing. The role involves analyzing system requirements, creating multi-domain physical system models using MATLAB/Simulink tools, conducting simulation and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) validation, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure system performance, accuracy, and reliability throughout the product development lifecycle.
Your Impact
Collect and analyse system requirements and specifications to define modelling and simulation needs.
Develop and maintain models of physical systems using modelling tools (e.g., Simulink, Stateflow, Simscape).
Support the development of real-time simulations and HIL testing environments for embedded systems.
Manage time and resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
Continuously learn and develop new skills to stay current with technology.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Strong Model-Based Design (MBD) experience using MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, and Simscape.
- Experience with embedded systems validation and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing in real-time simulation environments.
- Ability to model and analyze physical systems across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or thermal domains.
