Role Overview
Arcadis IBI is seeking a Traffic cum Transportation Engineer for its Hyderabad office.
The role focuses on traffic and transportation studies, especially traffic due diligence studies.
Projects include highway assets and transport nodes in highway and urban sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor traffic surveys and network inventory activities in the field.
- Collect secondary data and liaise with relevant authorities.
- Analyze and interpret traffic-related data using relevant analytics tools.
- Communicate site observations and technical findings to the reporting manager.
- Prepare technical reports documenting due diligence study outcomes.
- Provide insights and recommendations for traffic-related issues.
- Collaborate with civil engineers, transportation planners, and urban designers or planners.
- Stay current with advancements in traffic engineering and data analytics.
Technical and Soft Skills
- Use MS Excel, Python, Power BI, or another relevant data analytics tool.
- VISUM or another transport modelling software is advantageous.
- Communicate complex technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
