Essential Functions
Involved in Planning, Developing, creation, review, execution of test cases and is responsible for applying business and functional knowledge.
Execute functional, Integration and regression test cases.
Review requirements and test cases as needed.
Executes tests systematically to ensure software quality.
Able to tweak test data in databases if required.
Identify and record defects.
Work with the development team to fix bugs.
Collaborating with other stakeholders within the team including Development, QA, Business Users.
Participates in peer reviews.
Contributing to product innovation.
Good to have Spotfire tool knowledge and automation testing
Good to have prior experience in tools usage like Jira
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience with software quality assurance and testing of applications. ETL testing.
- Experience on database testing, SQL queries is mandatory.
- Ability to test data from database to UI report is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Test Management Tools such as HP ALM is mandatory.
- In depth knowledge in software testing lifecycle is mandatory
- Able to work in Agile methodology.
