Sr. Test Analyst

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Design detailed test scenarios and cases for web services-based billing and revenue management applications.
• Execute SoapUI tests for request and response structures, data mappings, and billing business rules.
• Validate REST API endpoints, payloads, authentication flows, and response codes.
• Coordinate with developers, product analysts, and operations partners to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
• Review requirements, user stories, and interface specifications to derive traceable end-to-end test conditions.
• Create realistic test data for customer profiles, price plans, discounts, adjustments, invoices, and payment events.
• Document defects with steps, logs, and service payloads and support impact assessment and retesting.
• Monitor test coverage, pass rates, defect trends, and retest efforts to support quality improvements.
• Contribute to regression suites for web services and REST APIs across frequent releases.
• Validate rating, invoicing, taxation, and revenue recognition rules.
• Conduct integration tests across billing engines, customer management portals, and financial reporting tools.
