Role Overview
L2 Network Engineer role responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure.
The role supports seamless connectivity, robust security, and enhanced network performance.
Network and Security Operations
- Manage routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
- Manage Fortigate firewalls and network traffic security.
- Configure and optimize network switches.
- Manage APC UPS systems and power distribution units.
- Oversee data center cooling, rack management, and physical security.
- Use Sophos solutions for endpoint security, encryption, and threat intelligence.
- Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly.
- Maintain network configuration and process documentation.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of network engineering experience.
- Experience with Fortigate firewalls, switches, and APC systems.
- Proficiency in configuring and optimizing network switches.
- Strong knowledge of data center operations.
- Expertise in Sophos software and hardware solutions.
- At least one year of experience in the UAE.
