ALSO is looking for a Sr. Staff Systems Engineer to play a key role in defining and supporting requirements development and feature development on various electric mobility vehicles!
What You Will Do
- Drive architecture and requirements development for a cross-functional micromobility vehicle platform program (Electrical Engineering, Firmware, Product Design) from a systems engineering perspective, ensuring alignment from concept through validation.
- Serve as the primary technical interface between customers and ALSO leadership to capture product intent and translate it into clear system artifacts including user stories, CONOPS, and use cases.
- Define and manage requirements at the system, subsystem, and hardware module levels in close collaboration with internal stakeholders across: Low-voltage electronics Battery and energy storage systems Drivetrain and actuators Connectivity and telematics Human–Machine Interfaces (HMI) Sensor systems

- Ensure end-to-end traceability across user stories, features, system requirements, subsystem requirements, and verification/validation test cases.
- Develop and maintain system architectures for distributed embedded controllers, including: Interface definitions and communication protocols Functional decomposition and allocation Fault detection, fault handling, and system-level robustness
