Zscaler is seeking a Senior Staff Software Development Engineer for a hybrid role based in Mohali.
The position reports to the Director of Software Engineering in the Engineering department.
The role provides technical leadership for system optimization, automation frameworks, and multi-cloud infrastructure strategy.
Role Expectations
- Develop software on Linux and FreeBSD systems, including configuration and system-level scripting.
- Work across AWS, Azure, and GCP to create and export virtual machine images.
- Write Python or Shell automation scripts for infrastructure tasks, monitoring, and cloud workloads.
- Profile performance and identify or troubleshoot resource utilization bottlenecks.
- Debug complex system and application issues with senior engineers.
