Sr. Sourcing Engineer

Perform detailed Zero-Based Costing analysis for fabricated, machined, electrical & mechanical components.

Develop cost models covering raw material and process costs & Challenge supplier quotations through fact-based cost analysis & Drive Value Engineering (VE) and Value Analysis (VA) initiatives to achieve sustainable cost reductions.

Deliver annual cost-saving targets through negotiations, localization, and design optimization.

Structural & Sheet Metal fabrication

Various Cutting, Bending, Surface treatment processes

Multi-axis machining

Casting and forging machining

Precision engineered components

Cycle time and machine rate analysis

Electrical panels and control cabinets

Wiring harnesses and cable assemblies

PLCs, sensors, relays, connectors, and switchgear

IEC, UL, CE, and RoHS compliance requirements

Rubber Products & the processes involved in manufacturing rubber parts

Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.

Work closely with Supplier Quality teams on PPAP, APQP, FMEA, CAPA, and process validations.

Support inventory optimization and working capital improvement initiatives.

Resolve supplier-related quality and delivery issues through structured problem-solving methodologies.

Negotiate commercial agreements, long-term contracts, payment terms, and service-level agreements.

Develop risk mitigation plans for critical commodities and suppliers.

Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical sourcing standards, and regulatory requirements.
