Role Overview

Key Job Responsibilities

• Build and migrate applications, software, and services on AWS with the sales team.
• Execute sales strategies to exceed revenue objectives through AWS adoption.
• Own the technical relationship between customers and AWS.
• Recommend architectures for security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Educate customers and lead deep architectural discussions for cloud deployment.
• Deliver customer training sessions and share best practices with the solutions architect community.

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a technology domain such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
• 5+ years of experience in application and infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation and consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
• A proven track record in software or technology sales or consulting.
• Ability to connect technology with measurable business value and think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
• Experience working with end-user or developer communities.
• Experience architecting Linux/Unix and Windows infrastructure, including servers, load balancing, high availability and disaster recovery, and storage.
• Experience in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
