Build and scale innovative supply chain applications for Cargill’s Ag & Trading team.
Develop software that supports improved margins, market share, team efficiency, and customer responsiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with user needs and business goals.
Key accountabilities
- Design and develop high-quality software solutions using clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Lead the application of internal deployment platforms, methodologies, and tools to automate reliable releases.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to gather complex requirements and deliver solutions.
- Write and maintain complex unit and integration tests and perform debugging.
- Improve software development and deployment processes by implementing approved standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for applications, deployment processes, and system configurations.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex issues with deployed applications.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience.
- The role typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience.
- Experience building modern front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
- Experience developing scalable back-end services using Spring Boot and/or Python.
- Preferred experience includes UX/UI implementation, API integration, event-driven systems, secure architecture, CI/CD, Git, and trading, supply chain, or logistics domains.
Compensation
- Expected salary range is $115,000–$155,000.
- The role is eligible for a discretionary incentive award based on company and personal performance.
- Compensation may vary based on location, certifications, education, experience, and geographic differentials.
Work authorization
- The role is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
