Role overview
Develop and maintain software applications supporting agricultural technology and sustainable farming initiatives.
Work with minimal supervision to deliver software features that meet user needs and business goals.
The position is located in Wayzata, Minnesota.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality software using clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Lead the use of internal deployment platforms, methodologies, and tools to automate deployment and support reliable releases.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to gather complex requirements and deliver solutions.
- Write and maintain complex unit and integration tests and debug issues affecting software quality and performance.
- Suggest and implement improvements to software development and deployment processes.
- Build and maintain documentation for software applications, deployment processes, and system configurations.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed applications to minimize downtime and accelerate resolution.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain quality and share knowledge with software engineering colleagues.
Qualifications
- At least 4 years of relevant work experience is required.
- Backend software development experience with Java and Spring Boot is preferred.
- Backend and API development experience with RESTful or event-driven services is preferred.
- Experience designing and implementing modern CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
Compensation
- The expected salary range is $115,000-$155,000.
- The position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award based on company and individual performance.
