Role Purpose
Build and scale software applications supporting Cargill's agricultural trading operations.
Transform weather, crop, market, and trading data into insights for models, supply chain optimization, risk management, and trading strategies.
Advance platforms including Weather Intelligence and NA Crop Supply.
Key Accountabilities
- Design and implement robust trading systems that process real-time market data.
- Automate software releases, testing, and repetitive workflows.
- Collaborate with traders, analysts, engineers, and other cross-functional teams.
- Develop tests and debug systems under high transaction volumes.
- Improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and development practices.
- Maintain technical documentation, operation manuals, and onboarding knowledge.
- Monitor live trading systems, resolve operational issues, and minimize downtime and risk.
- Perform maintenance and develop disaster recovery plans for business continuity.
Required Qualifications
- At least four years of relevant work experience.
- Experience building and scaling full-stack applications using React, C#, .NET, and/or Python.
