Role Overview

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and implement reliable, high-throughput, low-latency, scalable, and documented code.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and partners on reusable and performant solutions.
• Seek opportunities to reuse or generalize existing services.
• Experiment with new technologies and develop proofs of concept.
• Conduct pull-request code reviews.
• Analyze and solve issues independently.
• Troubleshoot issues in lower and production environments.
• Write unit and component tests.
• Monitor and improve production application quality.
• Work in a Scrum team and provide daily updates.
• Estimate assigned development tasks and assist with estimates for less senior developers.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 5 years of software engineering, analysis, and design experience across the software development lifecycle.
• At least 5 years of Java, Spring Framework, SQL, AroraDB, MongoDB, distributed applications, and web services experience.
• Exposure to GraphQL or graph databases.
