Technical leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage backend and frontend developers.
- Drive product architecture, technical roadmaps, scalability, security, and end-to-end consistency.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and data scientists on technical strategy.
- Align backend APIs with frontend data consumption and visualization workflows.
Backend and data
- Oversee Django, Django REST Framework, and FastAPI backend development for big data and LLM applications.
- Guide AI agent development involving task decomposition, tool usage, memory, and LLM integration.
- Optimize PostgreSQL and document databases such as MongoDB in a multi-tenant SaaS environment.
- Ensure efficient data pipelines using Pandas, PySpark, and Dask.
Frontend and operations
- Guide React and TypeScript development with Redux or Context API state management.
- Oversee interactive dashboards using amCharts and D3.js for complex datasets.
- Lead code reviews, CI/CD, automated testing, deployment, incident response, and root cause analysis.
- Partner with QA to validate data accuracy from databases through user-facing visualizations.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience are required.
- 3+ years of technical leadership experience managing and mentoring developers are required.
- Expert Python, Django, and FastAPI proficiency is required.
- Strong React, TypeScript, state management, database, CI/CD, communication, and product skills are required.
Nice to have
- Experience with amCharts or D3.js, AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, WebSockets, Jest, Cypress, Grafana, Prometheus, ClickHouse, DuckDB, or AI/ML deployment is advantageous.
