The role supports technology and digital initiatives for Disney Experiences brands and products.

Team and role

The Edge Security Site Reliability Engineering team supports more than 4,000 teams worldwide during product launches, brand announcements, key events, and ongoing edge security operations.

The team works across multiple locations to support worldwide partners and brands.

The role collaborates closely with Global Information Security teams on corporate standards, audit requests, and Disney security alignment.

What you will do

Drive a DevSecOps culture among peers and developers.
Design, build, and support security policies and development pipelines.
Automate infrastructure and operations, create monitoring telemetry, and engineer reliable systems that secure company data.
Support Web Application Firewalls, web technologies, and Git-based source control.
Apply systems, network, operational excellence, application stability, security, performance, and capacity management practices.
Collaborate with Security Operations teams and stay current with emerging technologies.

Required qualifications

At least 5 years of related work experience.
Proficiency in agile environments and observability principles.
Hands-on experience with CI tools and configuration management tools.
Experience with programming languages and cloud environments.
Proficiency in UNIX/Linux administration, troubleshooting, and security.
Experience with large-scale distributed systems, root-cause analysis, technical project leadership, and security collaboration.
Bachelor's degree in a listed technical field or equivalent work experience.

Preferred qualifications

Experience supporting high-demand releases and brands.
PCI audit and standards experience.
